Overview
Ondo Perps is a perpetual trading platform tied to the Ondo ecosystem that lets you trade equity perps on major stocks, gold, and other RWA markets. Unlike traditional stock markets, trading is open 24/7, and tokenized assets like AAPL and NVDA can be used directly as collateral. The platform pays out weekly USDC trading rewards, and I'm also farming it with the potential points opportunity in mind.
My Take
I initially started using Ondo Perps because of the trading rewards and points opportunity, but the actual product quickly became the more interesting part. What I like is being able to trade equity perps on major tech stocks and gold 24/7 instead of being restricted to normal market hours. That makes it feel genuinely different from the usual crypto perp DEX. The weekly USDC rewards are basically an extra rebate on top of trading. I don't want to churn meaningless volume just for rewards — I prefer taking trades I would actually take and letting the rewards and points accumulate naturally.
